A fine morning to pick up a loaf of bread becomes a challenge for a man who lives a quiet life on the edge of town. Once the ordeal is over, Robert discovers the best way to enjoy his feast.

Terry & Leslie Butler

The Butlers live in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where they enjoy walking through the woods, dancing and sci-fi shows. Of their numerous jobs, Terry has been an elementary art teacher, a printmaker, and a head baker; while Leslie has been a wedding gown designer, a pastry chef, and a writer of creative non-fiction as a lawyer. They fondly recall several years at a sourdough bakery in Northern Michigan where they helped make many fine loaves of bread.

Leslie earned a B.S. in Textiles and Design from Eastern Michigan University, a B.A. in History from the University of Michigan, and a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.

 

Terry Butler

Terry earned a B.F.A. from the University of Michigan School of Art & Design, a teaching certificate from Eastern Michigan University, and a Fruit Tree Production Certificate from Michigan State University.
