Laura Pershin Raynor

Laura Pershin Raynor's Grandma Dinah, who lived to be 105 years old, raised her on the tales of the Old Country, providing Laura with a landscape for her own stories, told in an animated and intimate style. Laura performed at the National Storytelling Festival and many others throughout her career, always coming home to her favorite weekly storytimes. For 35 years, the Ann Arbor District Library was Laura's storytelling home, where the power of stories is understood and supported.
